About Sheri Collins, LCSW

Sheri Collins, LCSW, brings seven years of mental health experience and a genuine passion for helping individuals navigate life’s emotional challenges with clarity, resilience, and compassion. She believes that every person deserves a safe, non-judgmental space to explore their inner world and process the complex experiences that come with being human. Her work centers on fostering psychological flexibility and guiding clients toward living in a way that honors their values, strengths, and personal journeys.

Sheri’s approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a modality that helps clients reduce internal struggles by embracing thoughts and feelings rather than fighting them. Through mindfulness, emotional awareness, and values-based action, she supports individuals in creating meaningful change aligned with who they want to become. To meet each person’s unique needs, she also integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused strategies, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems, and mind–body interventions—blending top-down cognitive work with bottom-up somatic healing.

Her clinical experience includes working with individuals and families facing anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, relationship difficulties, grief, and stress-related disorders. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Sheri offers trauma-informed care that is grounded, sensitive, and attuned to the pace of each client. She welcomes people from diverse backgrounds, identities, orientations, and neurodivergent experiences, creating a therapeutic environment where authenticity is encouraged and respected.

Sheri is also expanding her work to support couples as they navigate relational challenges and build healthier communication patterns. No matter the concern, her goal remains the same: to help clients cultivate self-understanding, emotional resilience, and a life aligned with their core values. With warmth and a holistic perspective, Sheri empowers clients to overcome obstacles, strengthen their well-being, and grow in meaningful, lasting ways.
