About Elijah Gildea, LMFT

Elijah Gildea is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 20 years of experience helping individuals navigate emotional challenges, relationship struggles, and major life transitions. His work is grounded in the belief that therapy should be a collaborative and encouraging experience—one where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.

Elijah helps clients work through a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, anger, career challenges, identity shifts, and relationship issues. He understands that life’s difficulties can become overwhelming, and his goal is to guide clients through these moments with clarity, compassion, and skill. Rather than offering quick fixes, he focuses on helping clients learn how to live more peacefully and intentionally within their current circumstances while still moving toward their long-term goals.

Using an integrative therapeutic approach, Elijah tailors each session to the individual needs of his clients. His extensive training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic methods, and Solution-Focused strategies. This flexibility allows him to meet clients exactly where they are—whether they need structure, emotional exploration, or practical problem-solving tools.

With decades of clinical work and supervisory experience, Elijah brings professionalism, warmth, and deep understanding to every session. He creates a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their inner world, build emotional resilience, and develop healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges. His approach is steady, grounded, and focused on helping each person move toward a life that feels more balanced and authentically their own.
