About Jennifer Drown, LMFT
Jennifer Drown is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s most complex emotional challenges. Her background includes work as a therapist, clinical supervisor, and assistant director at a treatment facility serving clients experiencing both mental health and substance use disorders. This breadth of experience gives Jennifer a deep understanding of how emotional, relational, and environmental factors shape a person’s well-being.
Jennifer’s therapeutic style is grounded in a client-centered approach. She believes that each person brings unique strengths, values, and perspectives into the room, and she works collaboratively to identify what healing and growth look like for them. She integrates solution-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide practical, effective tools that clients can use in their daily lives.
Her experience spans working with diverse populations—across cultures, backgrounds, belief systems, socioeconomic levels, sexual orientations, and gender identities. Jennifer specializes in treating mood disorders, substance abuse, trauma, PTSD, domestic or intimate partner violence, women’s issues, and family or relational concerns. She brings both clinical expertise and genuine empathy to her work, creating a space where clients feel understood, safe, and supported.
Jennifer understands that life can become overwhelming, confusing, or emotionally heavy. Her role is to help clients process what they’re experiencing, make sense of their emotions, and find new ways to move forward. With warmth, clarity, and a grounded therapeutic presence, she supports people in strengthening their relationships, improving emotional resilience, and navigating difficult moments with greater confidence and stability.
